Israel and South Africa’s former Apartheid regime: Is It a Fair Comparison?

There is a controversy raging in North America over Israeli Apartheid Week (March 1-7 2010).1 A resolution was passed in the Ontario Provincial Parliament which was unanimously supported (only 30 MPPs voted) and declared the comparison of Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians to apartheid as “odious.” To quote an article in the Toronto Star Canada’s largest circulation paper.
In a rare show of unanimity, Ontario MPPs of all political stripes have banded together to condemn “Israeli Apartheid Week.”
Progressive Conservative MPP Peter Shurman (Thornhill) tabled the motion Thursday to denounce the sixth annual provocative campus event that kicks off next week at universities and colleges in 35 cities around the world.
“Resolutions in the Ontario Legislature send a message. They are about moral suasion,” said Shurman, adding “it is close to hate speech” to liken democratic Israel to apartheid-era South Africa.
“I want the name changed. It’s just wrong,” he said, emphasizing that “respectful” debate about the Middle East is much more constructive than slinging slurs.
“Israeli Apartheid Week is not a dialogue, it’s a monologue, and it is an imposition of a view by the name itself – the name is hateful, it is odious,” he said, adding it is also offensive to the millions of black South Africans oppressed by a racist white regime until the early 1990s.2
Progressive Conservative MPP Peter Shurman (Thornhill) was quoted as saying that he wants “the name changed. It’s just wrong” and that his resolution is about “moral suasion”, and that the term apartheid is “close to hate speech…hateful” and “odious”. He says he wants a “respectful” debate much more “constructive” than “slinging slurs.”
New Democratic MPP Cheri DiNovo (Parkdale-High Park) also claimed that the word apartheid is “inflammatory” and ”used inappropriately in the case of Israel”. “Apartheid does not help the discussion,” she states.
Shurman also argued that the comparison “is also offensive to the millions of black South Africans oppressed by a racist white regime until the early 1990s.”2
It is interesting to see what South African’s who actually lived under the Apartheid system have to say about Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians. The natural basis of such kinship between the policies of Israel and South Africa was apparently recognized by the virulent supporter of Apartheid and prime minister of South Africa, Hendrik Verwoerd. He noted in 1961 that Jews “took Israel from the Arabs after the Arabs had lived there for a thousand years. In that I agree with them, Israel, like South Africa, is an apartheid state.”3
The much revered leader of the struggle against racism and Apartheid in South Africa and the first President of the non-racist Republic of South Africa Nelson Mandela had the following to say on the issue of the Palestinians. To quote journalist John Pilger, “To Nelson Mandela, justice for the Palestinians is ‘the greatest moral issue of our time.’”4
Here is an excerpt from a speech Nelson Mandela gave on International day of Solidarity with the Palestinians.
The temptation in our situation is to speak in muffled tones about an issue such as the right of the people of Palestine to a state of their own. We can easily be enticed to read reconciliation and fairness as meaning parity between justice and injustice. Having achieved our own freedom, we can fall into the trap of washing our hands of difficulties that others faces.
Yet we would be less than human if we did so.
It behooves all South Africans, themselves erstwhile beneficiaries of generous international support, to stand up and be counted among those contributing actively to the cause of freedom and justice.
Even during the days of negotiations, our own experience taught us that the pursuit of human fraternity and equality — irrespective of race or religion – should stand at the centre of our peaceful endeavours. The choice is not between freedom and justice, on the one hand, and their opposite, on the other. Peace and prosperity; tranquility and security are only possible if these are enjoyed by all without discrimination.
It is in this spirit that I have come to join you today to add our own voice to the universal call for Palestinian self-determination and statehood.5
In March 1985, Denis Goldberg, a Jewish South African and member of the African National Congress and sentenced in 1964 to life imprisonment for “conspiring to overthrow the apartheid regime,” was released through the intercession of his daughter, an Israeli, and top Israeli officials, including the president of Israel and allowed to go into exile to Israel.
Goldberg said after arriving in Israel that he saw “many similarities in the oppression of blacks in South Africa and of Palestinians.” He called for a total economic boycott of South Africa, singling out Israel as a major ally of the apartheid regime. Refusing to live in a country that supported Apartheid South Africa Goldberg quickly left Israel and moved to London, England.6
Mr. Aziz Pahad, the South African Deputy Foreign Minister, and Mr. Kgalema Motlanthe, the Deputy President of the African National Congress (ANC), met with Palestinian human rights activists on 6 June 2008 in South Africa. The South Africans officials had recently returned from a visit to the 1967 Occupied Palestinian Territory. In the meeting with Arab Political Leaders and Adalah representatives Mr. Pahad and Mr. Motlanthe stressed the South African government’s support for the Palestinian people. Mr. Motlanthe stated that in his view “the current situation for Palestinians in the OPT is worse than conditions were for Blacks under the Apartheid regime.”7
Here is an excerpt from an article describing the reactions of Veteran African Congress members after visiting the Palestinian Occupied Territories.
Veterans of the anti-apartheid struggle said last night that the restrictions endured by Palestinians in the Israeli-occupied territories was in some respects worse than that imposed on the black majority under white rule in South Africa.
Members of a 23-strong human-rights team of prominent South Africans cited the impact of the Israeli military’s separation barrier, checkpoints, the permit system for Palestinian travel, and the extent to which Palestinians are barred from using roads in the West Bank.
After a five-day visit to Israel and the Occupied Territories, some delegates expressed shock and dismay at conditions in the Israeli-controlled heart of Hebron. Uniquely among West Bank cities, 800 settlers now live there and segregation has seen the closure of nearly 3,000 Palestinian businesses and housing units. Palestinian cars (and in some sections pedestrians) are prohibited from using the once busy streets.
“Even with the system of permits, even with the limits of movement to South Africa, we never had as much restriction on movement as I see for the people here,” said an ANC parliamentarian, Nozizwe Madlala-Routledge of the West Bank. “There are areas in which people would live their whole lifetime without visiting because it’s impossible.”8
Israeli journalist Gideon Levy also wrote an article on this visit by South African dignitaries. Here are excerpts from his report:
Lunch is in a hotel in the city, and Madlala-Routledge speaks. “It is hard for me to describe what I am feeling. What I see here is worse than what we experienced. But I am encouraged to find that there are courageous people here. We want to support you in your struggle, by every possible means. There are quite a few Jews in our delegation, and we are very proud that they are the ones who brought us here. They are demonstrating their commitment to support you. In our country we were able to unite all the forces behind one struggle, and there were courageous whites, including Jews, who joined the struggle. I hope we will see more Israeli Jews joining your struggle.”
She was deputy defense minister from 1999 to 2004; in 1987 she served time in prison. Later, I asked her in what ways the situation here is worse than apartheid. “The absolute control of people’s lives, the lack of freedom of movement, the army presence everywhere, the total separation and the extensive destruction we saw.”
Madlala-Routledge thinks that the struggle against the occupation is not succeeding here because of U.S. support for Israel – not the case with apartheid, which international sanctions helped destroy. Here, the racist ideology is also reinforced by religion, which was not the case in South Africa. “Talk about the ‘promised land’ and the ‘chosen people’ adds a religious dimension to racism which we did not have.”
Equally harsh are the remarks of the editor-in-chief of the Sunday Times of South Africa, Mondli Makhanya, 38. “When you observe from afar you know that things are bad, but you do not know how bad. Nothing can prepare you for the evil we have seen here. In a certain sense, it is worse, worse, worse than everything we endured. The level of the apartheid, the racism and the brutality are worse than the worst period of apartheid.
“The apartheid regime viewed the blacks as inferior; I do not think the Israelis see the Palestinians as human beings at all. How can a human brain engineer this total separation, the separate roads, the checkpoints? What we went through was terrible, terrible, terrible – and yet there is no comparison. Here it is more terrible. We also knew that it would end one day; here there is no end in sight. The end of the tunnel is blacker than black.9

Serious discussion of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict must include the full spectrum of opinion in keeping with democratic values, free speech and much needed critical inquiry. In Israel, there is a vibrant political debate, and while this debate and democratic discourse is coming increasingly under attack, this debate contributes to the vitality of Israeli society as it deals with the Palestinian issue, the nature of a “Jewish State” and how to govern its society.
America, which provides a great deal of financial, military and political support for Israel, needs to be aware of this debate in Israel and in Jewish circles, and to understand the ramifications of uncritical support for the policies and actions of Israel toward the Palestinians and its Arab neighbors. To stifle and censor the discussion of these important issues does no favors for the United States, Canada or for Israel or the Jewish people.

PHOTO: Transgendered personality Laverne Cox has hit the big time. The former “I want to work for Diddy” cast member is about to launch her own reality show on the VH-1 network. I cannot recall any other transsexuals who actually have starred in their own reality shows. LINK
Meet the cast:
LAVERNE COX made television history when she became the first African American transgender woman to appear on an American reality show with her appearance as a finalist on VH1′s “I Want To Work For Diddy.” She accepted the GLAAD media award for Outstanding Reality Program for “I Want To Work For Diddy.”
As an actress Laverne has guest starred on “Law and Order,” “Law and Order: SVU,” and HBO’s “Bored to Death.” She recently starred in the forthcoming independent film “Uncle Stephanie.” Her other film credits include “Bronx Paradise,” “The Kings of Brooklyn” and “Daughter of Arabia.”
Laverne has appeared at performance venues all over New York City as an actor, dancer and Emcee including Radio City Music Hall, P.S. 122, La Mama Etc, The Duplex and The Producer’s Club.
JAMIE CLAYTON was born and raised in San Diego, California. Jamie Clayton moved to New York when she was 19-years-old to pursue a career as a makeup artist. Working in the fashion & beauty industries for over a decade now, she has assisted some of the industry’s top makeup artists. She has worked on campaigns and editorials for major publications such as V magazine, W, Teen Vogue and Interview magazine.
In August of 2008 she was interviewed by Spencer Morgan for The New York Observer in an article titled “The Second Most Beautiful Girl In New York.” Soon after, she appeared on The Tyra Banks Show and was a feature story on CBS’s 365 News airing on the LOGO channel. Jamie’s “out” status led to her becoming a positive role model for the Transgender community.
NINA POON was born in 1975 in Saigon, Vietnam, the oldest child of traditional Chinese parents. Multi-faceted media artist Nina Poon immigrated with her family in 1978 to Orlando, Florida at age four. Nina took an early interest in fashion and illustration and gained entry into Miami’s International Fine Arts College. At seventeen, Nina left home to fulfill her dream of becoming a fashion designer.
Nina currently lives in New York with her boyfriend, Robert Jason, an Emmy award winning producer and filmmaker. Nina appears in Jason’s forthcoming docu-series on the lives of transsexual women in New York entitled BEING T. In addition to making appearances on the Fuse Network’s PANTS OFF DANCE OFF and Style Network’s SPLIT ENDS, Nina was cast in her first motion picture speaking role in director Dito Montiel’s FIGHTING starring Terrence Howard and Channing Tatum.
Kenneth Cole chose Nina to star in his Fall 2008 international advertising campaign. She was the first transgender female to model in full page ads featured in Vanity Fair, Vogue, New York Times, Marie Claire, WWD and the list goes on. The campaign was nominated for two 2009 GLAAD Awards. Nina also continues to enjoy her work as a makeup artist, fashion illustrator and has recently added photo retouching to her list of talents.

Maple Leaf coach shows ungraciousness to Team Canada Olympic Win
PHOTO – Toronto Maple Leafs coach Ron Wilson talked on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 about his experience as coach of Team USA during the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics (CP).

It is one thing for Ron Wilson to express misgivings wbout a Team USA loss while in front of American reporters and in the U.S., but, to express such a chorus of negativity in Canada while being head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs arguably lacks class.
Clearly, Ron Wilson congratulating both Team USA and Team Canada on a game well played was too much to ask for.
“Ron Wilson could have pointed to the eye-opening television ratings. He could have talked about how a young group overcame its inexperience to challenge for a gold medal, and how the U.S. Olympic men’s hockey team he coached might finally have lit the flame of interest in its home country.”
“But he did not.”
On his first day back to work at his regular job as head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Wilson opted against highlighting the positives in the U.S. team’s unexpected march to the championship game at the Vancouver Olympics. He suggested the 3-2 overtime loss to Canada on Sunday, which has generated a considerable buzz on both sides of the border, was just that — a loss.
“In our business, it’s about winning the whole thing, and not putting it into perspective,” Wilson told reporters Tuesday. “You don’t think in terms of anything but winning the whole thing. In five years, no one’s going to give a damn. It’s who won. I mean, we know that.”
He also fired a salvo at the Canadian media for what he framed as an attack on goaltender Martin Brodeur. The 37-year-old began the tournament as the starting goalie, but ceded the job to Roberto Luongo after Canada fell to the U.S. in the preliminary round.
“The biggest surprise to me was how everybody threw Marty Brodeur — the greatest goalie in the history of the game — under the bus and backed over him,” Wilson said. “That’s the greatest goalie who’s ever played, and it kind of almost tarnished his career on one night.
“He didn’t have a good night, but part of that had to do with how well we pressured him.”
Perhaps Mr. Wilson is still upset that his team faced Roberto Luongo? Brodeur’s lacklustre and careless goaltending against Team USA was definitely not what Team Canada needed.
Was this apparent lack of graciousness directed by current Toronto Maple Leafs GM Brian Burke who was in charge of the U.S Olympic Hockey Team?

In Puerto Rico there have been reported various cases of women whom assure that they have been abducted by extraterrestrials. They also assure that during their abduction they have been raped with the purpose of creating a new race among them and, also, among us.
Annually thousands of UFO abductions have been reported, leaving the local authorities with an incomplete mystery.
In relation to this subject, a question arises: Could the real reason for these abductions be for the purpose of conducting genetic experiments?
Delia, a Puerto Rican woman, is just one of many women who have been abducted by a UFO. Delia is married and has two other children, one is 16 years old and the other 5.
The following is a narration of Delia’s extraordinary experience. She tells us how she was abducted, got pregnant by an extraterrestrial, and finally gave birth to a child which she describes as “half human and half extraterrestrial.”
Here is her story.
One day during the month of October, a friend and I were at a Yoga Center. In this place various yoga activities are celebrated and also people go there to meditate. It was 7:30 p.m. when my friend and I decided to retire and go to sleep.
Then, all of a sudden somebody put their hand on my face. I couldn’t see who it was because the room was dark.
Suddenly, I was suspended in the air flying towards a direction that was totally unknown to me. While I was being transported in the air, I could see below myself houses and trees. At that moment I was so scared that I couldn’t move, speak or scream.
I calculate that the time had elapsed while I was being transported was approximately from 7:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. I was in my room when I woke up at 5:00 a.m. Immediately, I started vomiting and all my body was in terrible pain.
After a while, I felt a little better and I went to talk to Swami, who is the director of the Yoga Center. I told him how terrible I felt and what had happened to me. He told me to go back to my room and sleep until 12:00 noon and that when I woke up I would feel much better, which happened.
After this I was left with a strange sensation which is difficult to explain. One of the sensations was in my vaginal (area), the other was in my mind… my way of thinking. Before I didn’t give too much importance to the simple things that surrounded me, and now all of a sudden I began to notice how beautiful the sky was and also feeling a great amount of love towards other people. In other words, my life had changed completely.
Time passed by and it was already December – three months after my extraordinary experience. During these three months, I had noticed that my period occurred every 50 days, not every 27 days, or so, as would normally happen. Also, my stomach had enlarged just a little. Time passed by and then I had another encounter with a UFO.
Suddenly, I found myself in a metallic room where there were 12 small men (not human) all dressed in grey. In this room I was lying in a metallic bed where I can clearly remember giving birth to a child, just like a normal birth to this child, because my two other children had been born by Cesarean. Then suddenly I fell asleep. when I woke up I saw one of the extraterrestrials with a child in his arms.
When I saw this child something deep inside of me told me he was my child, but I also remember being afraid. I remember telling one of the extraterrestrials that I considered this child strange (because he was “half human and half” extraterrestrial)
. Also, I can remember telling myself that even though this child was strange I had to accept and love him because he was my child. Also, the way he looked at me and the expression on his face confirmed this to me. After a moment, the extraterrestrial brought the child to me so that I could hold him.
Even though I know he belongs to me, I cannot have him. And, because of this, my pain and sorrow cannot go away. They told me that he could not live with me because he could not eat the food that we human beings eat. While I held him in my arms I didn’t want to let him go. I held him very tight. Then the extraterrestrials took him away from me and escorted me to the entrance of the flying saucer.
After these two experiences, I have had two more. The other two occurred when they brought me the child so that I could be with him. They do so by transporting me by air, holding the child in my arms.
While I am being transported, I have noticed that they make like a certain experiment with me. I remember feeling fear, like if the child would just fall right out of my arms. I suppose that they do this to see how mother human beings instincts are towards their children.
At the present, my two children have also had UFO experiences. They both have developed a certain kind of mental abilities and presently are being studied by them. I can’t help worrying that probably one of these days my children can also be abducted..

Chambers County, Texas - Incident on 16 February 2010
My friend and I were in route from Port Arthur to Houston, traveling west bound on Highway 73, we had just passed the landfill (between Winnie, TX). The time was about 11:45 PM. We were visiting my aunt in ICU in Port Arthur.
I had just activated the Google Navigator on my 3G phone. I was thinking to myself, How cool!, we are tracking in virtual time on a satellite map, this must be the way we appear from an aerial view.
At that same instant, my friend who was driving,in a calm collective manner, says “See, I told you that there are UFOs around here!”
I looked up, my eyes immediately fixated to the top left corner of the windshield.
And sure enough, there it was, traveling east, about 200 ft above the highway. It appeared to be pulsating a glowing / fluorescent, bright, rainbow colour. However all of the colors displayed at the same time.
There were three rhomboid-shaped, pulsating objects. They seemed to be separate, but yet as one unit.
I asked my friend, ”Did you see that? what the hell is that?” four times, I also rolled all of the car windows down and I opened the sun roof.
This was to reassure myself that we weren’t just seeing a reflection off of the car’s glass, and my friend confirmed four times that we were both seeing the same phenomena.
As I opened the sun roof, never taking my eyes off of the object, I popped my head up through the sun roof, and said “WOW! that’s no reflection! That’s a bone fide UFO!”
That very instant, the object made an immediate U-turn.
And now it was following us down Highway 73. I never once lost visual contact with the object. I jumped down into my seat and shouted ”They are coming, they are following us.”
Keep in mind that this is a dark and desolate highway at this time of the night.
I kept my eye on it, while my friend was frantically speeding up to get away! I could see the same colors pulsating 100 ft above the pavement behind us, but it seemed very different than what colors you or I are use to.
I was almost hypnotized by this strange sight, I could see the triangle-shaped pulsating rhomboids getting larger, and closer, leaving and getting smaller, and yet not moving at all.
Well my friend, as strange as it may sound, all of this was taking place simultaneously. My eyes and brain were not quiet sure how to process all of this together.
We became panicked and sped up to approximately 120 mph. Again this thing never changed perspective, of course we were speeding, but the object stayed behind us, but not ever moving.
My friend says to me, “Stop staring at it.”
The object got almost to the back of my car, then I noticed a yellow-amber colored column of light slowly coming down to the ground from the object. Then the column of light became very, very bright and became almost like an orange fire ball.
I could see the grass and the dirt flying about under the fireball. I started screaming, “They are going to blow us up.” That instant, the object started to wobble.
And the air all around it seemed to ripple as if it were water. Then the object became one with the column of light – it reminded me of how Mercury looks on a hard surface.
And all in the same split second, the object then became a bright, large sphere, with the same pulsating colorful pattern. I was shell shocked.
Did I just see that take place in this dimension? By this time I could feel a presence in my persona, not anything unusual, no strange voices, but almost like my subconscious was suddenly in charge.
I never once felt threatened in that sense, but I was subtlety able to become aware of this new, unfamiliar feeling in my head.
This sounds strange, but like I said, there are no words to adequately describe what we were seeing.
We continued for few minutes, then I noticed two cars traveling east bound were coming, after what seemed like an eternity. I was wide eyed of course waiting to see if those cars would notice what was following us.
Sure enough, they all slammed on their brakes and pulled to the side of the road. At that time the object behind us backed down, and in a split second, the sphere divided into two and disappeared.
I feel like someone else out there had to have seen something.

Breakthroughs in new imaging technology developed by the firm of Ron Stewart/Ron Nussbeck may now permit human observers to identify what appear to be planet-sized extraterrestrial UFOs exiting from dimensional portals in the Sun (See images and slideshow in article below). A giant solar UFO wave commenced January 18, 2010, as predicted by the singularity theory of physicist Nassim Haramein that postulates that planet-sized UFOs access our solar system using the Sun as a star gate.
Images of the Sun taken by NASA Stereo spacecraft independently on January 21, 2010 and again on January 23, 2010 were submitted by this Examiner.com reporter to a demonstration test using this new proprietary imaging technology. The resulting images and analysis arguably visually confirm the existence of extraterrestrial or interdimensional giant UFOs exiting from what the images show as portals or tunnels on the Sun, in both sets of images from independent NASA Stereo photos dated Jan. 21 and 23, 2010, respectively. These results were released by the Ron Stewart/Ron Nussbeck firm in a report, parts 1 and 2 dated February 2 and 3, 2010.
According to communications with this reporter from film director Jose Escamilla and Mike Bird, director of Exopolitics Canada, NASA has acted to remove Stereo images of the Sun containing giant UFOs from their website. Dr. Joe Gurman, NASA Stereo Project scientist, stated the giant solar UFOs are “compression artifacts”. The images derived by the Ron Stewart/Ron Nussbeck imaging technology appear to demonstrate that planet-sized extraterrestrial or interdimensional UFOs can be identified in these images as entering and exiting from dimensional portals in the Sun.
NASA appears, by the weight of prima facie visual evidence, to have been engaged in yet another cover-up of intelligent extraterrestrial life in our solar system, contrary to its mandate under the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Act of 1958.
In a taped lecture on a previous solar UFO wave, physicist Nassim Haramein posited the giant solar UFOs as extraterrestrial craft accessing our solar system via the black hole or dimensional portal of our Sun, as his singularity theory predicted.
Ron Stewart/Ron Nussbeck approached Mr. Haramein’s staff prior to his Feb. 3, 2010 public remarks on a Coast-to-Coast radio program with copies of the two new imaging technology reports on solar UFOs. Mr. Haramein has yet to be reached for public comment on the two reports. On Feb. 3 program Mr. Haramein noted that “‘there is activity around the sun that can’t easily be explained by conventional means,’ yet it’s difficult to make distinctions between camera artifacts and anomalous objects.”

Chilean journalist reports “sky changing colours” during earthquake

Chilean reporter, Cecelia Lagos, was just interviewed on CNN and said when the earthquake happened the sky changed colours. She said she was afraid it was the end of the world and that she saw the whole buildings crumble into giant cracks in the earth “just like in the movie 2012″. So… are there other reports of changes in the colour of the sky during an earthquake.
I couldn’t find a video of the CNN interview conducted by Betty Nguyen that aired at 9:50AM on CNN, but I did find a video of another interview of Cecelia Lagos from MSNBC (see link). I also found a transcript of a portion of her interview as recorded by someone’s TIVO as it aired on CNN (see below):
Cecelia Lagos – “Besides, I saw through my window, while I was still in bed, I saw the sky changing colours, it was absolutely surreal. I really thought it was the end of the world…I don’t know I hope you understand me because I’m not exaggerating really because I saw it through my window like that. That was the most terrifying thing seeing the sky changing colours with the terribly, amazingly,strong movement of the earth, I thought, ok…this is mother earth… the earth opened up and buildings crumbled into the earth …like in the movie 2012…”

UFOs spotted around the Sun

Several huge spherical UFOs have recently been seen orbiting the Sun since January of this year. These objects were captured by NASA’s Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO). SOHO was launched in 1995 to study the Sun and is a joint venture between the European Space Agency (ESA) and NASA and is slated to continue its mission until December 2012. The objects observed seem to appear and move in different positions around the Sun and seemed to be as large as our planet Earth.
Several experts and scientists believe that the objects could not be classified as either comets or asteroids, since they would ultimately be destroyed either by the gravitational pull or heat of the Sun. The official statement from NASA is that the central data recorder that stored all of the playback data for the solar missions failed and what was observed really are “compression artifacts.”
This week, NASA’s Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory (STEREO) observed several objects flying across the surface of the Sun, exhibiting the same if not more stealth than 
those seen in January. Are we looking at interdimensional spacecrafts interfacing with our solar system through the black-hole singularity of the Sun’s portal or stargate, as proposed by physicist Nassim Haramein? What could account for the size, movement and disregard for gravity by these objects?
Perhaps, that is why NASA launched the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) this week, the latest craft designed to study the Sun’s inner workings in unprecedented detail. According to NASA, SDO will be a first-of-a-kind mission, the most technologically advanced of heliophysics spacecraft ever and will take images of the sun every 0.75 seconds and daily send back about 1.5 terabytes of data to Earth, the equivalent of streaming 380 full-length movies.
“Study the inner workings of the Sun in unprecedented detail.” Maybe Haramein is onto something.
