Dating Transgendered Women requires understanding various terms

by Delicious Dee

If you are seriously interested in a relationship with a Shemale you must understand the terms “top”, “bottom” and “versatile” with regard to sexual intercourse. Sexual intercourse with a shemale is anal intercourse with the exception of Shemales who have undergone sexual reassignment surgery (SRS).  Such Shemales have surgically constructed vaginas with which they can engage in sexual intercourse. However, I will be discussing this matter from the point of view of a pre-op transsexual because I am a pre-op transsexual myself and according to the web poll on the right, the overwhelming majority of men who are interested in Shemales prefer Shemales who have a penis.

Most Shemales prefer to be “bottoms” during anal sex. The term bottom refers to someone who plays the passive or receptive roll during anal sex. “versatile” Shemales enjoy playing the passive and active roll during anal sex equally. In other words, a versatile Shemales would enjoy penetrating you anally in addition to being penetrated by you! Shemale “Tops” are the rarest of the three categories. Shemale tops only play the active roll during anal sex and thus expect their male partners to be totally comfortable with playing the passive roll exclusively.

I am sure you are wondering which category, yours truly, Deelicious Dee, falls under. I happen to be a versatile shemale. : )

Now will show you examples of shemales from each category using TS Dating.

Chipicosa is a typical bottom shemale

HeatherBrooke is a Top Shemale

In this excerpt from her profile she says…

I WANT A COMPLETE STRONG MAN… (YOU HAVE TO BE A MAN …NOT A SISY LOL) BUT A COMPLETE BOTTOM IN BED

Nayla is a versatile TS

In her profile she describes herself as…

SEXXXY HORNY TOP & BOTTOM, “AZTEC GODDESS”MISSTRES.

VersatileTS is another versatile shemale

She describes herself as…

sexy shemale who just so happens to enjoy the company of men!!!Versatile sexy and freaky, very open minded!!!

So now that you understand the meaning of top, bottom and versatile you have to decide which type of shemale interests you. Having a clear understanding of this will make it easier for you effectively focus on the type of shemale you want and avoid potentially embarrassing misunderstandings.

Some Shemales are highly sensitive about top, bottom, versatile sexuality. As I mentioned before, most Shemales are bottoms and want their male partners to be exclusively tops. Many shemale bottoms are completely turned off by versatile or bottom men. They feel that men who are versatile or bottoms are not as masculine as men who are tops or they just hate the idea of being anything other that a bottom during anal sex. I believe they are mistaken in this view but everyone has a right to their own opinion and preference.

In my opinion masculinity is not determined by ones like or dislike of playing the passive roll in anal sex. Some of my boyfriends have been the straightest, most masculine men you could imagine and they enjoyed be penetrated by me. : )

In fact, anal sex has been steadily growing in popularity among heterosexual couples.

PHOTO: Transgendered personality Laverne Cox has hit the big time. The former “I want to work for Diddy” cast member is about to launch her own reality show on the VH-1 network. I cannot recall any other transsexuals who actually have starred in their own reality shows. LINK

H1 and Left/Right Inc. have teamed up to create a new edition of fashion makeover shows with “Transform Me.” Each half-hour episode follows the makeover of one woman badly in need of a transformation — on the outside and inside. The subjects quickly find out this won’t be your typical makeover. They’ll be transformed by three transgender women. The ultra-glamorous makeover team, led by Laverne Cox (VH1’s “I Want To Work For Diddy”) with Jamie Clayton and Nina Poon, travel across the country answering “style 911 calls” in their deluxe fashion ambulance, helping subjects find the right style — and the confidence that comes with it. The new eight-episode 30-minute series will premiere Monday, March 15, 2010 at 10:30PM ET/PT.
“‘Transform Me’ is a show about everyone who’s ever felt that the person they are on the inside isn’t quite reflected in who is seen on the outside.  Transgender folks are in many ways the ultimate example of this.  We’ve taken extraordinary steps to bring who we are on the inside?out, and we’re committed to helping other women do the same thing.  If we can do it, anyone can!” said Laverne Cox.

Meet the cast:

LAVERNE COX made television history when she became the first African American transgender woman to appear on an American reality show with her appearance as a finalist on VH1’s “I Want To Work For Diddy.” She accepted the GLAAD media award for Outstanding Reality Program for “I Want To Work For Diddy.”

As an actress Laverne has guest starred on “Law and Order,” “Law and Order: SVU,” and HBO’s “Bored to Death.” She recently starred in the forthcoming independent film “Uncle Stephanie.” Her other film credits include “Bronx Paradise,” “The Kings of Brooklyn” and “Daughter of Arabia.”

Laverne has appeared at performance venues all over New York City as an actor, dancer and Emcee including Radio City Music Hall, P.S. 122, La Mama Etc, The Duplex and The Producer’s Club.

JAMIE CLAYTON was born and raised in San Diego, California. Jamie Clayton moved to New York when she was 19-years-old to pursue a career as a makeup artist. Working in the fashion & beauty industries for over a decade now, she has assisted some of the industry’s top makeup artists. She has worked on campaigns and editorials for major publications such as V magazine, W, Teen Vogue and Interview magazine.

In August of 2008 she was interviewed by Spencer Morgan for The New York Observer in an article titled “The Second Most Beautiful Girl In New York.”  Soon after, she appeared on The Tyra Banks Show and was a feature story on CBS’s 365 News airing on the LOGO channel. Jamie’s “out” status led to her becoming a positive role model for the Transgender community.

NINA POON was born in 1975 in Saigon, Vietnam, the oldest child of traditional Chinese parents.  Multi-faceted media artist Nina Poon immigrated with her family in 1978 to Orlando, Florida at age four.  Nina took an early interest in fashion and illustration and gained entry into Miami’s International Fine Arts College.  At seventeen, Nina left home to fulfill her dream of becoming a fashion designer.

Nina currently lives in New York with her boyfriend, Robert Jason, an Emmy award winning producer and filmmaker.  Nina appears in Jason’s forthcoming docu-series on the lives of transsexual women in New York entitled BEING T. In addition to making appearances on the Fuse Network’s PANTS OFF DANCE OFF and Style Network’s SPLIT ENDS, Nina was cast in her first motion picture speaking role in director Dito Montiel’s FIGHTING starring Terrence Howard and Channing Tatum.

Kenneth Cole chose Nina to star in his Fall 2008 international advertising campaign.  She was the first transgender female to model in full page ads featured in Vanity Fair, Vogue, New York Times, Marie Claire, WWD and the list goes on. The campaign was nominated for two 2009 GLAAD Awards.  Nina also continues to enjoy her work as a makeup artist, fashion illustrator and has recently added photo retouching to her list of talents.

CHENNAI — For a change, the hoots sounded encouraging this time around.  For, they came from fellow community members as some 120 contestants walked the ramp at a pioneering beauty competition for transgenders on Saturday.  The country’s first-ever Miss India Transgender contest — at the city’s Hotel Vijay Park — also saw candidates vying for titles for the most beautiful hair, eyes, skin and walk.  A relatively short Mumbaikar in her 20s won the Miss India title.   Kareena Shalini, dressed in a pink sleeve-less gown, didn’t blink one second when she replied in Hindi to a crucial question from the jury of tele-serial artistes and transgender contestants from earlier regional-level shows.
.
“I’ll not only protect the person, but would also ensure she got out of the trouble,” the wheatish-complexioned transgender said in a deep-throated voice, when asked if she would give refuge to a transgender who is a murderer.
.

The runner-up, Manipur’s Thokcho Rockyson Romi, spoke in English, while the second runner-up Padmini, was a Tamil with a bigger build and almost in her 30s.  The thrill at the tastefully lit up basement was palpable as 800-odd trans-genders, largely led by various NGOs, gathered to cheer the candidates in a bid to boost the entire community’s self-esteem.

Most contestants at the event, organised by the Indian Community Welfare Organisation with the support from TANSACS, UNAIDS and ACTIONAID, aired views about uplift, fighting for their rights, job opportunities and prospects of gaining power. Many at the gathering, as ICWO’s A J Hariharan too agreed, felt this pageantry would go a long way in fighting the stigma they faced in society.
